✅ In this section, we discuss ways to improve the art system, drawing, etc., so that people become more informed about how to paint their works.

🎨 Extracting Colors​

  • To easily extract colors, I recommend starting with the base color, which ideally is neither too bright nor too dark (depending on your preference, but generally an intermediate shade works well).

🌈 How Many Colors Should There Be?​

  • I generally recommend using 3-5 shades of the same color. The number may vary depending on the desired texture quality, but I am currently discussing a 16x16 resolution because it typically works well. Example:

🖌️ How Can I Color Them?​

  • You could start from the bottom with darker shades and gradually work your way up, lightening everything.

🎨 How Can I Blend 2 Colors Easily Without It Looking Bad?​

  • To blend colors, you can select the color you want to blend with another, then reduce the brush opacity to 125 and paint over the color. Remember to restore the opacity to 255 afterward.

🔄 How Can I Paint Both Sides at Once?​

  • In the paint section, there's a checkbox with some space between them. By activating it, you can enable Mirror painting.

🔄 How Do I Do the Same but Forward and Backward, Not Sideways?​

  • By doing the same process, but this time, click the arrow next to the checkbox and go to Axis, then change it to Z instead of X, and you're done.

❓ Why Doesn't the Mirror painting Work on the Other Side?​

  • It's because the model isn't symmetrical on each side. To fix this, I recommend activating Mirror Modeling or duplicating and mirroring the model to the other side.

🎨 Color Examples​

The tones of these colors were not simply darkened towards black. Colors that complement each other should be sought to create an eye-catching palette.

For example, yellow isn't merely darkened towards black; it's shifted to a slightly darker orange to give a striking lighting effect, as seen in the first image. Similarly, the purple in the second image isn't just darkened towards black; it's shifted towards blue with hints of purple to create an eye-catching hue.
